Human Resources Manager

As a Human Resource Manager at our life science manufacturing facility in Madurai, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all HR functions. Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting talent management in a GMP-regulated environment. Your key responsibilities will involve managing end-to-end recruitment for technical, production, and support roles, coordinating onboarding processes, partnering with Quality and Operations for staff training compliance, identifying skill gaps, and coordinating training programs. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between management and employees to resolve issues, lead employee engagement initiatives, ensure HR policies compliance, maintain employee records, oversee performance appraisals, and coach managers on performance improvement. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 15-20 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or life sciences environment. Having a strong understanding of labor laws, GMP standards, and HR best practices is essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution skills, proficiency in HRMS software, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are also key qualifications required. Preferred qualifications include experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing, relevant certifications like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR, and working knowledge of ISO, FDA, or EMA regulatory environments.
