Job Description

As a 'Human Resource Intern,' you will support our people operations by assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR processes. This role is a people + operations-focused position, where you learn how HR drives culture, performance, and growth in a fast-paced AI + EdTech startup.
The first 10 days are completely training-oriented, so you understand HR tools, workflows, and policies before taking ownership.
  • Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in end-to-end recruitment (screening, scheduling interviews, coordination).
  • Supporting onboarding and documentation processes.
  • Maintaining employee and intern records (HRMS / trackers).
  • Coordinating with hiring managers and team leads.
  • Assisting in intern engagement, feedback, and performance tracking.
  • Supporting HR communication, policies, and internal announcements.
  • Helping with culture-building activities and team engagement initiatives.
  • Participating in HR training sessions, reviews, and feedback discussions.
  • 30–60–90 Day Internship Roadmap:
  • Days 1–10:
  • Understanding company culture, HR policies, and structure.
  • Learning basics of recruitment, HR operations, and compliance.
  • Introduction to HR tools, trackers, and workflows.
  • Training, shadowing senior HR members, and mock tasks.
  • Days 11–60:
  • Assisting in live recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinating interviews and candidate communication.
  • Maintaining HR records and reports.
  • Participating in regular reviews, mentorship, and feedback sessions.
  • Days 61–90:
  • Handling assigned HR tasks independently.
  • Supporting intern/full-time employee engagement initiatives.
  • Performance-based incentives and PPO discussion.
