HR Executive / HR Associate

Role Summary

The HR Executive will support the Senior HRBP in managing the employee lifecycle, payroll coordination, HR systems, documentation, reporting, and vendor communication. This role requires strong Excel skills, comfort with data, and the ability to work with speed and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Assist with onboarding, induction coordination, creation of employee files & records.
  • Maintain and update employee documents in Zoho People & Payroll.
  • Handle exit documentation, F&F inputs, and basic compliance paperwork.
  • Coordinate with background verification agencies for new joiners.

2. Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Prepare monthly attendance/leave data for payroll processing.
  • Support with reimbursements, deductions, PF updates, KYC, and GHI additions.
  • Work with finance and HR lead on reconciliation sheets and salary run data.

3. HR Data, Excel & Reporting

  • Maintain profitability & billability trackers, recon sheets, attendance dashboards.
  • Collate monthly/quarterly HR MIS reports.
  • Work with large Excel sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas, formatting).

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist in planning engagement activities, events, newsletters, and internal communication.
  • Support appraisal cycles (April & October) by managing schedules, trackers, and documentation.

5. Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with vendors (insurance, BGV, payroll, gifting portals).
  • Track renewals and maintain vendor communication logs.
  • Support the HR Lead in onboarding new vendors or negotiating quotes.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • 34 years of experience in HR operations (non-recruitment side).
  • Strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, Data Validation, basic automation.
  • Working knowledge of HRMS tools (Zoho preferred, but any HR system experience works).
  • Good communication skills email drafting, professionalism, and basic client handling.
  • Highly structured, detail-oriented, and reliable with documentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with maturity.
