Position Overview

HR Operations Manager

This role will drive operational excellence, ensure statutory compliance, manage internal audits, and lead a team of HR professionals towards delivering seamless HR services.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HR Associates and SMEs
  • Manage hiring, training, and development of HR operations team
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and enable capability building
  • Motivate and create a highperformance culture

HR Operations & Process Excellence

  • Drive endtoend employee lifecycle operations (Onboarding to Exit)
  • Standardize HR policies & procedures across the organization
  • Manage HRMS / HRIS processes and data accuracy
  • Monitor KPIs and SLA adherence, ensuring service excellence
  • Resource allocation based on business priorities and seasonal requirements

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure statutory compliance (ESIC, PF, Labour Laws, Shops & Establishment Act, Gratuity, POSH, etc.)
  • Coordinate internal & external audits and drive compliance closure
  • Maintain documentation and data security as per company and legal norms

Employee Query & Case Management

  • Ensure timely resolution of employee queries & escalations
  • Improve employee experience through quality HR support services

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Continuously review, streamline, and improve HR processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation & digital transformation
  • Work with crossfunctional teams to enhance HR system capabilities

  • Strong leadership & team management capabilities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Customercentric mindset and high employee service orientation
  • Knowledge of HRMS/HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with large workforce scale
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and statutory requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (MBA in HR preferred)
  • 10+ years

    of relevant experience in HR Operations
  • Experience in BFSI / NBFC / Retail industry preferred
