Job Title: HR Manager Department : Human Resources Location : Bengaluru, India Reports To : Head of Operations Job Summary Seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Leader who is a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities to manage end-to-end human resources functions at Taru IT Solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Indian labour laws, a passion for people development, and the ability to support the growth of a tech-driven organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership Align HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational growth. Act as a consultant to senior management on human capital issues. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage full-cycle recruitment, especially for software development and IT roles. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs. Pre-screening applicants by reviewing resumes and conducting technical phone interviews to assess their skills, experience, and knowledge Building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management Build employer branding strategies and engage with external recruitment partners. Oversee orientation including creating offer letters, orientation, system access for new hires for a seamless new hire experience. Compliance & HR Policy Management Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws (e.g., Shops & Establishment Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.). Regularly update and implement HR policies in accordance with local regulations. Coach and support Senior Management with HR issues such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and terminations; provide guidance and advice as appropriate Employee Relations - building strong relationships with employees throughout the company and act as liaison between other departments, divisions and stakeholders Terminations and off boarding responsibilities including exit interview coordination and property collection Handle statutory audits and liaise with labor consultants when necessary and other HR duties as required Performance & Talent Management Implement and manage OKRs/KPIs and appraisal cycles. Develop career progression paths and succession planning. Learning & Development Assess training needs and roll out technical and soft skills programs. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for employee development initiatives. Employee Engagement & Relations Drive employee engagement, team-building activities, and retention programs. Mediate conflicts and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment. Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and take actionable feedback. HR Operations Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS. Coordinate with finance for payroll processing and benefits administration. Oversee exit management and conduct exit interviews. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. 5-8 years of HR experience, preferably in an IT/software services environment. In-depth knowledge of Indian employment laws and HR best practices. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with HRMS tools (e.g., Keka, Zoho People, Darwinbox). Preferred Qualifications MBA in HR or a professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI, or NIPM India). Experience in a startup or fast-growing tech company. Exposure to international HR practices is a plus.
