Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall HR operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
Oversee and guide the HR team in onboarding, exit processes, documentation, background verification, and compliance.
Manage end-to-end payroll activities, including attendance verification, leave management, salary inputs, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, and final payroll reconciliation in coordination with the accounts team.
Maintain and enhance HR policies, processes, and SOPs in alignment with organisational goals.
Handle complex employee relations issues, grievances, and conflict resolution with professionalism and confidentiality.
Plan and implement company-wide engagement initiatives, reward programs, and culture-building activities.
Partner with leadership and department heads to understand manpower needs and workforce planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external consultants, recruitment partners, colleges, and training vendors.
Review and approve job descriptions, hiring criteria, and final candidate selections for critical roles.
Ensure timely communication of internal announcements, policy updates, and organizational changes.
Monitor HR metrics such as attrition, hiring TAT, employee satisfaction, and drive improvement actions.
Oversee HR audits, compliance requirements, and statutory documentation.
Support senior management in strategic HR functions like performance management, appraisals, and retention planning.
Mentor and guide junior HR team members, ensuring their development and task efficiency.
Take ownership of escalated HR issues and coordinate resolutions across departments.
