Role & responsibilities Employee On-boarding and Separation : Manage the complete on-boarding process, including orientation, documentation, and exit interviews, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees. Employee Support and Guidance : Provide employees with guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring they have a clear understanding of company expectations and resources available to them. Employee Relations : Oversee employee relations by managing conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, fostering a fair and respectful workplace. Performance Management : Administer the performance review process and offer guidance on performance improvement plans, helping employees reach their full potential. HR Initiatives and Policies : Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies that align with the company's strategic goals. Compliance and Record Keeping : Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, keeping up to date with legal requirements. Employee Engagement : Manage employee engagement initiatives to support a positive work culture, encouraging open communication and collaboration. Regulatory Compliance : Prepare and maintain statutory registers and other corporate records, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and guidelines. Benefits Administration : Set up and maintain Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax (PT) accounts, generating the respective challans. Manage employee benefits administration, including leave records and medical benefits. Industry Trends and Best Practices : Stay informed about industry best practices and trends to continuously improve HR processes and strategies. Office Management : Oversee day-to-day office activities to ensure smooth operations. Manage the purchasing of office supplies and accessories to support efficient office functioning. Preferred candidate profile A comprehensive understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance is essential to ensure all HR practices are legally sound and up to date. Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and managing disciplinary actions effectively. Strong understanding of organizational behaviour principles to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement. Familiarity with corporate governance principles and compliance requirements to uphold ethical standards and integrity within the organization. Ability to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and company matters. Ability to maintain composure and effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to interact effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage HR processes efficiently and accurately. Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and guide team members towards achieving departmental and organizational goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to perform various HR administrative tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to articulate ideas clearly and professionally.
