Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for all human resources matters, supporting the entire employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for tasks ranging from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and policy implementation, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations within our college and hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Onboarding:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle – from posting job openings and screening resumes to coordinating interviews and conducting reference checks.
• Prepare offer letters and appointment letters.
• Conduct a comprehensive and welcoming onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Employee Lifecycle Management:
• Maintain and update employee records (physical and digital) with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage attendance, leave records, and other HR data.
• Process full and final settlements for exiting employees and conduct exit interviews.
• Payroll & Compliance Support:
• Assist the accounts department with payroll processing by providing accurate data on attendance, leaves, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws related to PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other labour regulations.
• Help in maintaining all statutory registers and records.
• Performance Management:
• Support the administration in the annual performance appraisal process.
• Track probationary periods and confirmations.
• Employee Engagement & Relations:
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances, providing timely resolutions.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, festivals, and other institutional events.
• Help foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Policy & Process Implementation:
• Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure all staff are aware of and adhere to the institution's rules and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Human Resources (MBA) or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2-5 years as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
• High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Proactive, resourceful, and a strong problem-solver.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the Healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with HR software or systems.
