Position Summary

We are urgently seeking a qualified and

ADNOC-approved HSE Officer

to join our team for ongoing and upcoming

telecommunications infrastructure projects

under ADNOC. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with

ADNOC’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)

policies and standards across all project sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ADNOC projects, strong safety leadership, and a proactive approach to hazard prevention and risk control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce ADNOC HSE policies, procedures, and standards at project sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and related safety protocols.
  • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all site personnel.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, reports, and records in line with ADNOC’s requirements.
  • Liaise and coordinate with ADNOC HSE representatives, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project safety goals.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strict adherence to site safety guidelines.
  • Support emergency preparedness, response drills, and ensure readiness for all potential site emergencies.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset among all employees and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certifications:
    • NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
    • Additional certifications such as IOSH or equivalent HSE qualifications (MOFA-attested) are advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an HSE Officer on ADNOC projects, preferably within the telecommunications or oil & gas industry.
    • Strong familiarity with ADNOC HSE standards, systems, and procedures.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP HSE portals, and HSE management tools.
    • Excellent understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation techniques.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in challenging onshore and offshore environments.
    • Immediate joiners or those available at short notice will be given preference.
