HR Position Overview

HR Recruitment Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to function in our hybrid caf, specialty coffee roles.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the food and beverage industry
  • Source candidates through job sites, social media, networking, and industry events.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews (phone/in-person), and coordinate interviews.
  • Maintain a robust talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
  • Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment drives in Kerala and beyond.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and timely communication at all stages.
  • Collaborate with outlet and operations managers to understand job requirements and desired profiles.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics and maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a recruitment specialist, ideally in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality.
  • Deep knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, candidate assessment, and employer branding.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong integrity, discretion, and professionalism required.

Preferred Attributes

  • Proficiency in Malayalam and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience recruiting for retail outlets, food service, or hospitality roles in Kerala.
  • Understanding of local labor market dynamics and cultural context.
