Job Description

Job Purpose:The HR Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for managing the recruitment processes at the immigration office, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates. The role requires strong communication skills, understanding of immigration and visa-related procedures, and the ability to manage a variety of recruitment tools and technologies. Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, including preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers. Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and immigration-specific platforms. Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs. Candidate Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial interviews and assess candidates’ suitability for immigration-related roles. Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant hiring managers. Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations during the recruitment process. Coordination with Immigration Authorities: Work closely with the legal and immigration teams to ensure that all candidates meet the required visa and immigration standards. Facilitate the preparation of necessary documents for visas, work permits, or other immigration-related requirements. Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed for immigration purposes. Provide support for the integration of new employees into the company culture and job responsibilities. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions, ensuring they are in compliance with immigration laws. Keep up to date with immigration policies, visa regulations, and other legal requirements. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with department heads and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and priorities. Provide regular updates on the recruitment process and candidate status. Employer Branding: Promote the immigration office as an attractive place to work through employer branding strategies. Attend job fairs and other recruitment events to represent the office and attract talent. Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in an immigration or legal environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms. Familiarity with immigration laws, work permits, and visa processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in MS Office and recruitment software.
