Job Description

Role Overview

The HR Operations, Compliance & Benefits Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, statutory compliance, employee benefits, and labor law adherence. The role also includes KPA/KRA planning, monitoring, and supporting HR policies for an IT organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working in the IT domain with strong administrative, documentation, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations

  • Manage HRIS, employee master data, personal files, and HR documentation.
  • Handle onboarding, induction, asset allocation, ID creation, and orientation for IT employees.
  • Manage exit formalities: Offboarding, FnF, clearance, relieving & experience letters.
  • Prepare Offer Letter, Appointment Letter, Increment Letter, Warning Letters, etc.
  • Support payroll processing through attendance, leaves, late marks & overtime inputs.
  • Coordinate with IT & Admin teams for system access, hardware issuance, and security compliance.

2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Law

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws relevant to IT companies:
    • EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF

    • Gratuity Act

    • Bonus Act

    • Sexual Harassment (POSH) Compliance

  • Maintain statutory registers, compliance documents, and audit records.
  • Coordinate with external consultants for audits, inspections & filings.
  • Keep track of updates in labor law and ensure organizational compliance.

3. Employee Benefits Management

  • Manage insurance (Group Medical, Group Accidental), reimbursements & claims.
  • Handle leave management: EL/PL, CL, ML, SL as per company policy.
  • Manage employee benefits like LTA, travel allowance, attendance bonus, retention benefits.
  • Maintain timely updates of additions & deletions in insurance policies.

4. KPA/KRA & Performance Management

  • Support HR Manager in designing KPA/KRA structures for all departments in IT.
  • Track monthly/quarterly performance and ensure KRAs are updated.
  • Assist in appraisal cycles, rating reviews, and goal-setting meetings.
  • Maintain PMS data, performance dashboards, and reports.
  • Coordinate with managers to ensure clarity of goals and measurable outcomes.

5. Policy & Process Management

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies & SOPs for IT processes.
  • Improve and standardize employee lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure consistency in disciplinary procedures, documentation, and HR communication.

6. Employee Engagement & Support

  • Conduct engagement activities, events, and surveys for IT teams.
  • Address employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, salary, and compliance.
  • Promote positive workplace culture and coordinate with team leads.

Education

  • MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
