Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to employment laws (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, etc.).
  • Maintain and update employee records, registers, and documentation as per legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during compliance audits and inspections.
  • Track and ensure timely submission of statutory returns and filings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws.
  • Conduct internal HR audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support HR team in employee onboarding, exits, and background verification processes.
  • Stay updated with changes in labor legislation and ensure management is informed about new or updated compliance requirements.
  • Handle vendor/contract labor compliance documentation and ensure contractors follow legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data and organizational information at all times.
