Job Summary

We are seeking 5-7 years experienced and proactive

HR Manager

to oversee and manage all human resource functions, including performance management, payroll, statutory compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and end-to-end employee lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Management (PMS) & Appraisal:
  • Design, implement, and manage the Performance Management System (PMS).
  • Drive the annual appraisal process, ensuring transparency and fairness.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align performance goals with business objectives.
  • Payroll & Taxation:
  • Oversee the monthly payroll process ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Handle TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory deductions as per government norms.
  • Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and tax filings.
  • Compliance & Policy Implementation:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including POSH, Shops & Establishment Act, Maternity Benefit Act, and annual returns.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, handbooks, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with legal and audit teams for timely submission of reports.
  • Employee Relations & Management:
  • Handle employee grievances and resolve workplace issues effectively.
  • Maintain a healthy and productive work environment through engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee records, attendance, and performance data.
  • HR Operations:
  • Supervise onboarding, induction, and exit processes.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics like attrition, attendance, and performance trends.
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA /MCom in HR or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and payroll management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools (e.g., Keka, Zoho, Business Central)
  • Hands-on experience in PMS, employee grievance handling, and policy formulation.
Must Have
  • Must have experience in HR software implementation or have been part of an implementation.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proactive approach toward timely completion of tasks
  • High ownership and commitment
