Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, and HR documentation. This internship provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions and HR policies in a corporate/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities (screening resumes, interview coordination, follow-ups).
  • Support onboarding and joining formalities for new employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
  • Assist in attendance, leave management, and basic payroll coordination.
  • Support HR documentation such as offer letters, appointment letters, and confirmations.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and HR communications.
  • Assist in compliance-related documentation (PF, ESI, statutory records) under supervision.
  • Support training programs, induction sessions, and HR initiatives.
  • Handle basic employee queries and provide administrative HR support.
  • Any other HR-related tasks assigned by the HR team.

Eligibility / Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed MBA / MSW / PGDM / MHRM or equivalent (HR specialization preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and labor laws is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
