Position: Senior Executive Department: Fabric Sourcing-Knits Experience: 5-10 Years Location: Arekere, Bangalore Qualification: B Tech, Diploma in textile Roles and responsibilities: Day to day follow up and Execution of work as per the order. Initiate research and development of new fabrics, analysis of their density, types of dyes, printing etc., as per the swatches given and pass on to the designers to develop garments. To visit manufacturing units to attend fabric related problems. Based on fabric analysis quote the prices and arrange for bulk fabric production. Trouble shoot problems occurring during production relating to shrinkage percentage, color variation etc. To make efficient use of resources. Arrange fabrics for extra consumption, in case of rejection, settle the claims with mills. Meet the planned cut date as per the production planning. Interact with QA and ensure Quality check is done to fit into the requirement. To strategize innovative ideas to simplify process and make it more efficient. To generate MIS reports and provide the same to the concerned departments. Knowledge of Testing and Inspection.
