Job Description

3-Month HR Internship Curriculum (with Job Opportunity Focus)

Month 1: Foundation & Exposure

Objective: Build core HR knowledge and introduce real-time tools.

  • Week 1–2: HR Basics & Orientation
  • Introduction to HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance
  • Company policies, code of conduct, and HRMS tools
  • Soft skills: communication, email etiquette, time management
  • Week 3–4: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Resume screening, job descriptions, and sourcing strategies
  • Hands-on with job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn)
  • Shadowing live interviews and preparing candidate reports

Month 2: Practical Application

Objective: Apply HR concepts in real scenarios.

  • Week 5–6: Employee Engagement & Onboarding
  • Drafting onboarding plans and welcome kits
  • Planning engagement activities (virtual/in-office)
  • Conducting feedback surveys and analyzing results
  • Week 7–8: HR Operations & Compliance
  • Leave management, attendance tracking, and HR documentation
  • Introduction to labor laws and statutory compliance
  • Drafting HR letters (offer, confirmation, exit)

Month 3: Specialization & Job Readiness

Objective: Prepare for full-time roles and assess performance.

  • Week 9–10: Performance Management & L&D
  • Understanding appraisal cycles and KPIs
  • Designing basic training modules
  • Conducting mock performance reviews
  • Week 11–12: Final Project + Interview Prep
  • Capstone project: HR audit, engagement plan, or recruitment drive
  • Resume building, mock interviews, and LinkedIn optimization
  • Final evaluation and job offer for top performers
