HR Director

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading a team of HR personnel managing all functional areas of HR, including employee relations, benefits management, regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and employee engagement. Your role will involve overseeing a workforce comprising internal full-time employees and hourly workers. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise 4-5 direct reports and approximately 20+ indirect reports in an onsite setting. - Work closely with senior management in the US to enhance processes, develop and evaluate HR policies, programs, functions, and activities. - Ensure full compliance with all US state and federal laws and regulations, aligning policies with the Company's vision. - Recommend, implement, and coordinate HR policies and programs such as employee relations, compensation, and training and development. - Generate and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc reports on personnel information and data. - Stay updated on laws and regulations affecting HR management, interpret policies, and advise management and associates accordingly. - Participate in investigating and resolving employee relations issues, anticipate problems, and initiate appropriate steps for resolution. - Perform any other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or relevant experience. - 15+ years of experience in Human Resources. - 10+ years of professional supervisory experience. - 10+ years of experience managing US HR operations with extensive knowledge of State & Federal regulations. - Knowledge of Canadian HR practices is a plus. - Certification such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM - CP, or SHRM - SCP is highly preferred. - Experience managing a large employee base of 5000+ in a multi-location environment. - Ability to work in US shifts/hours.
