Job Description

The HR Director is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan. This role provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to executive management, while overseeing all HR operations including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Leadership

Develop HR strategies aligned with the organizational goals and culture.

Advise senior leadership on HR trends, workforce planning, and organizational development.

Lead change-management initiatives and organizational transformation efforts.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Oversee full-cycle recruitment for leadership and critical roles.

Create workforce planning models to identify skill gaps and future talent needs.

Strengthen employer branding and drive recruitment marketing strategies.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

Maintain a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement programs.

Resolve complex employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers.

Implement retention strategies, conduct employee satisfaction surveys, and act on findings.

4. Compensation, Benefits & HR Policies

Develop and manage compensation structures and benefits programs.

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Regularly review HR policies, updating as needed.

5. Performance Management & Development

Oversee performance management systems to drive accountability and alignment.

Lead learning & development programs and succession planning.

Support leadership development initiatives.

6. HR Operations & Compliance

Manage HRIS systems and ensure accuracy of employee data.

Oversee payroll coordination and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

Create and monitor HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, productivity).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Proven experience in strategic HR planning, change management, and organizational development.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
