Job Purpose:

The HR Automation Operations manager is responsible for delivery of end-to-end digitalization of HR processes, ensuring process optimization during HR automation initiatives. The executive will ensure a seamless employee experience through technology and data upgrades.

The role working with the Head of HR automation and Transformation will ensure HR systems, workflows, and governance frameworks are modern, efficient, scalable, and aligned with operational excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Automation & Digitalization support:

  • Support the design, deployment, and optimization of automated HR solutions (Workflows, self-service, digital assistants).
  • Map and automate high-volume HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, leave, ticketing, Chat bots, recruitment, and data changes).
  • Support Technology utilization e.g., HRMS utilization, Applicant tracking system adoption, and continual system improvements.
  • Ensure automation aligns with business needs, ROI, and user experience requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams to implement new digital HR tools.
  • Redesign HR processes for efficiency, standardization, and scalability across markets.
  • Develop and maintain HR SOPs, service catalogues, process maps, and governance controls.
  • Drive change management for HR technology implementation and process transformation.
  • Lead communication, training, and engagement plans to build digital capability across HR and the business.
  • Support HR teams with system adoption, troubleshooting, and continuous system learning.

HR Data, Analytics & Governance:

  • Build advanced HR dashboards and reporting frameworks for workforce analytics, productivity, compliance, and service quality.
  • Ensure strong governance, risk mitigation, and internal controls across HR processes.
  • Lead audits (internal, external) related to HR data and HR systems.
  • Work within the developed data standards, perform quality checks, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of HR operations, HR systems, process improvement, or digital transformation experience.
  • Proven experience with HR automation tools, HRMS, Payroll tools (Eg Oracle Fusion, Oracle HRMS, Payspace and/ or workflow tools).
  • Experience leading HR transformation projects in a complex, multi-country environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (recruitment, payroll, data management, performance, onboarding).
  • Project management certification is an advantage.
  • Experience working with data analytics and HR dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
