Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Hotel Chenthur Park in Coimbatore, your role will involve overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to high cleanliness standards and meet the hotel's requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise housekeeping staff activities, including cleaning and maintenance tasks. - Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards. - Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and hotel protocols. - Manage and maintain housekeeping inventory, as well as place orders for necessary supplies. - Address guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and efficiently. - Create and manage staff schedules, handling time-off requests effectively. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of prior housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Effective communication and leadership abilities. - Capability to multitask and manage time efficiently. - Knowledge of various cleaning products and best practices in the industry.
