Position: Room Attendant

Reporting To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary:

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure high standards of hygiene, comfort, and guest satisfaction. This role includes making beds, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining overall room upkeep as per hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms daily as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Make beds, change linens, and arrange the room neatly.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Replenish guest amenities (towels, toiletries, water, tea/coffee setup).
• Ensure proper waste collection and disposal.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor.
• Handle guest laundry, lost & found items, and room supplies responsibly.
• Ensure proper usage and care of housekeeping equipment and chemicals.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitization standards.
• Maintain the housekeeping trolley neatly and fully stocked at all times.
• Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.
• Complete daily room assignment sheets and checklists accurately.

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant in hotels preferred.
• Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and housekeeping equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet room cleaning targets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 10th / 12th pass.
• 0–2 years of experience in housekeeping (hotel/ hospitality industry preferred).

Work Environment:

• Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Hospitality environment with high guest interaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
