As a Housekeeping Supervisor, your role involves overseeing housekeeping contractors and workers to ensure top-notch service delivery and compliance with statutory norms. You will be responsible for establishing standard work procedures for the housekeeping staff based on the Hospital's policies. It will be essential to motivate team members, address any job-related issues, and plan work schedules effectively to guarantee adequate service coverage across all hospital areas. Inspecting the physical condition of the Hospital, you will recommend necessary repairs, furnishings, re-furnishings, and equipment relocations for enhanced sanitation, appearance, and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Inspecting and evaluating the physical condition of the Hospital - Recommending necessary repairs, furnishing, re-furnishing, and equipment relocations - Reallocation of space to improve sanitation appearance and efficiency - Ensuring proper disposal of garbage and biomedical waste in adherence to guidelines - Implementing pest control measures and overseeing extermination processes - Managing contracts for pest control services, facade cleaning, and other housekeeping services - Ensuring economical use of housekeeping supplies - Proposing cost-saving measures for expendables - Coordinating housekeeping activities with other departments - Serving on infection control committee and other relevant committees Additionally, you will be responsible for: - Efficient maintenance of housekeeping equipment - Managing laundry operations including linen distribution and collection - Ensuring quality assurance of washed linen and uniforms - Coordinating with the supply chain for future purchases - Allocating lockers to various departments as per policy - Resolving internal customer complaints Feel free to reach out to other departments for coordination purposes and actively participate in relevant committees to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
