Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms efficiently and to the highest standards.
Make beds, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and replenish room supplies.
Ensure bathrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with toiletries.
Report any room maintenance or damage issues to the supervisor.

Public Area Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and corridors.
Ensure housekeeping pantries and trolleys are organized and fully stocked.
Respond promptly to guest requests for extra towels, linen, or cleaning services.

Guest Interaction:

Greet guests politely and assist with reasonable requests.
Respect guest privacy and use Do Not Disturb protocol appropriately.
Report lost & found items immediately to the Housekeeping office.

Health & Safety:

Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and as per training.
Follow IHG s

Way of Clean

guidelines to ensure hygiene and sanitation.
Adhere to hotel fire, safety, and emergency procedures.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness
Positive attitude and good physical stamina
Ability to follow SOPs and work independently
Polite and guest-focused service behavior
Basic communication skills (English/local language)

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum 10th pass or equivalent qualification
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (training provided)
Familiarity with hotel housekeeping operations is an advantage
Physically fit to manage lifting, standing, and cleaning duties
