Job Description

Role Overview: As the Sales Manager Corporate & Banquet, your main responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing corporate accounts and banquet business. This role entails building strong relationships with clients, overseeing event planning and execution, and meeting sales targets for both room bookings and event bookings. Key Responsibilities: - Corporate Sales: - Identify and cultivate new corporate clients through proactive sales strategies such as cold calls, visits, and networking. - Maintain and enhance relationships with existing corporate accounts to maximize repeat business. - Negotiate and finalize contracts for room bookings, conferences, and corporate meetings. - Create corporate rate proposals and ensure timely renewals. - Collaborate closely with the reservations and front office team to ensure seamless service delivery. - Banquet Sales: - Market banquet facilities for various events like weddings, social gatherings, corporate events, and other functions. - Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand event requirements. - Prepare comprehensive banquet proposals and cost estimates. - Coordinate with the Food & Beverage and Banquet Operations teams to ensure successful event execution. - Follow up with clients post-event for feedback and potential repeat business opportunities. - Sales Strategy & Administration: - Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Generate sales reports and forecasts for management. - Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings. - Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in hotel sales, focusing on both corporate and banquet segments. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and hotel booking systems.
