Hotel Sales Executive

As a Sales and Marketing Support in Surya Palace, your main purpose for the job is to assist the Sales and Marketing Manager in developing the client database, maintaining current clients, and implementing successful marketing strategies for the hotel. Your efforts should be focused on ensuring guest satisfaction, achieving and maintaining division standards, and maximizing profits. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: - Punctually attending work with a high standard of personal appearance and uniform - Conducting fieldwork by meeting companies and clients, owning a vehicle is a must - Engaging in office work to maintain and develop databases - Identifying new sources of business, new clients, and new companies - Ensuring adherence to all hotel policies and regulations - Interacting with guests in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations - Promoting effectively the range of services provided by the hotel - Daily maintenance of the current clients database and collaborating with colleagues to develop new clients and prospects - Providing suggestions for ideas and improvements to develop new client contacts - Recommending new sources of business to enhance the hotel's profile - Regularly contacting organizers of booked events to confirm details and reassure them of Surya Palace's ability to meet their needs - Following up on queries to secure bookings and generate new leads - Reporting daily to directors on companies contacted, both current and new, and the outcomes - Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and professionalism when meeting potential clients on-site or at their office - Identifying areas for service development using existing resources to improve the range of products and services offered - Performing all duties diligently and completing work timely - Being a team player - Carrying out any other duties or specific projects as requested by senior management - Understanding that the hotel operates 24/7, and working hours/tasks may change according to business demands This position requires you to have your own vehicle and a valid driving license. Prior hotel and sales experience is preferred, and freshers need not apply.
