Hotel investment Analyst

Job Profile / Responsibilities

We are looking for a Hospitality Investment Analyst to join our growing real estate and hospitality advisory firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end evaluation of hotel projects, including market studies, development and operational cost analysis, financial modeling, and feasibility reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed feasibility studies and investment memorandums for hotel and mixed-use developments.

• Prepare and analyze cash flow models (IRR, NPV, Payback) and sensitivity analyses.

• Estimate development costs, FF&E budgets, and pre-opening expenses.

• Prepare valuation models for operational and under-development hotels.

• Track P&L benchmarks, GOP margins, and cost structures across brands (Marriott, Taj, Hilton, etc.)

• Liaise with architects, project managers, operators, and brands during project evaluations.

• Provide strategic inputs for land acquisition, brand tie-ups, and capital structuring.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3–7 years of experience in hospitality consulting, hotel investment analysis, real estate advisory, or feasibility consulting.

• Strong understanding of hotel P&L, capex-opex structures, and hospitality brand standards.

• Proficiency in financial modeling (Excel-based), PowerPoint presentations, and market research.

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics (MBA preferred).

• Previous experience with hotel operators (e.g., Marriott, Accor) or advisory firms (e.g., HVS, CBRE, JLL, Knight Frank) is a plus.
