**Job Summary:**

The Hotel General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of the hotel. This includes overseeing all aspects of the hotel's business, from sales and marketing to guest services and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the hospitality industry and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Sales and Marketing:**

* Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.

* Manage relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs) to optimize online visibility and bookings.

* Manage group bookings and coordinate with corporate clients.

* Prepare accurate quotations for banquet and room sales.

* Oversee banquet selling and function management, ensuring smooth execution of events.

* **Vendor Management:**

* Select and manage vendors for various hotel services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

* Verify and approve vendor bills to maintain accurate financial records.

* **Financial Planning:**

* Develop and implement monthly sales forecasts and budgets.

* Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

* **Guest Relations:**

* Manage guest reviews and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

* Oversee social media management to engage with guests and build online reputation.

* **Food and Beverage:**

* Assist in designing restaurant menus and pricing plans.

* Ensure the quality and consistency of food and beverage offerings.

* **Human Resources:**

* Recruit and train staff to meet the hotel's operational needs.

* Manage employee performance and development.

* **Reporting:**

* Generate weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as required, providing insights into the hotel's performance.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

* Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is a must.

* Minimum 13 years of experience in hotel management, preferably 2-3 years in a similar role

* Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, especially in the hospitality industry.

* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in using property management systems and other relevant software.
