Job Description

responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and staff management of a specific hospital unit

Operations and patient care:
Oversee all unit operations, from patient care and billing to security and housekeeping, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality services. They are responsible for implementing protocols for patient safety and satisfaction.
Financial management:
Manage the unit's budget and take responsibility for its profit and loss (P&L), working to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Staff and leadership:
Mentor and manage departmental heads and staff, fostering a performance-driven culture with clear key performance indicators (KPIs). They are also expected to act as a role model for their team.
Strategic planning:
Contribute to long-term planning, expansion, and the development of new service lines. They may also be responsible for creating the annual operating plan for the unit.
Business development:
Design and execute marketing strategies to increase patient inflow and brand visibility. This includes building relationships with corporate partners, insurance providers, and doctor referral networks.
Compliance and quality:
Ensure the unit operates in strict compliance with all healthcare regulations, hospital protocols, and accreditation standards. They must also continuously monitor and improve the quality of services provided.
Stakeholder management:
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, other departments, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
