Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management & Reporting

    • Oversee and manage the hospital’s accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, billing, and reconciliations.
    • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Revenue Cycle & Billing

    • Monitor billing processes, patient payments, and collections to minimize revenue leakage.
    • Supervise the preparation and verification of bills, insurance claims, and settlements.
    • Work closely with the billing team to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control

    • Assist in hospital budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Track expenditures, highlight cost variances, and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.
  • Banking & Loans

    • Manage banking operations, loan processing, and repayment schedules.
    • Liaise with financial institutions and auditors.
  • Coordination & Compliance

    • Collaborate with HR for payroll, employee benefits, and statutory deductions.
    • Work closely with the hospital’s Chartered Accountant (CA) for audits, tax filings, and financial compliance.
    • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership & Team Management

    • Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Implement robust internal financial controls.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.
  • Minimum

    5 years of relevant experience

    , preferably in the healthcare/hospital sector.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital accounting, billing, and healthcare finance systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, ERP, and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with management, HR, auditors, and external agencies.
