Profile Summary

We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing complex database systems, ensuring data integrity, and enabling efficient querying and reporting. The role also includes performance tuning, data modeling, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Experience Required

Key Skills Required

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 5–10 years of hands-on experience in SQL and database development.

· Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts.

· Experience in working with cloud databases and modern data architectures including data pipelines.

· Proficient in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

· Solid experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like:
SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) & Azure Data Factory.

· Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for data visualization and business reporting.

· Minimum 2 years of experience with ADO.NET or Entity Framework for integrating C# with databases.

· Familiar with tools like SQL Profiler, Execution Plan Analyzer, and Redgate SQL Toolbelt for monitoring and performance tuning.

· Experience with Azure Cosmos DB is good to have.

· Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Experience in CI/CD pipelines for database deployments and migrations.

· Familiarity with Version Control systems like Azure DevOps, TFS, Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Design and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, views, and functions.

· Manage and maintain database schemas based on application needs.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across systems.

· Collaborate with backend and data teams to integrate SQL logic.

· Perform query tuning using indexing, partitioning, and execution plan analysis.

· Develop and manage Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and data migrations.

· Implement security, constraints, transactions, and access controls.

· Support reporting through SQL-based data extraction (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).

· Use tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

· Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.

· Provide training, testing, and best practice guidance.
