This person leads the Professional Services division from a technical standpoint and manages the delivery of the changes required in the platform from a configuration perspective. This role involves high degree of coordination with the product and engineering teams for changes that require product level modifications or enhancements.
The person should possess technical and project management skills to understand the effort estimates, challenges overages in estimation or find gaps in them. The person helps the team create scenario-based testing plan for the change requests.
The person should be meticulous in creating documentation and reviewing the documents created by the team for low level solution designs, test plans and release notes. The role expects the person to review the scope thoroughly, identify corner cases (if any), seek customers sign off to minimize change in scope at the UAT stage.
Sprint planning and executing scrum for delivery is an absolute requirement for this role. The person should also ensure that all code/ configuration changes are well documented and updated in the Git repository for reference and rollbacks if needed.
Responsibilities:
Team Management
•
Leads a team of 1 to 2 Implementation Leads.
•
Plans optimum allocation of work and appropriate backup within the team. The objective will be to balance workload among team members and ensure timely closure of client deliverables.
•
Creates a learning and growth plan for the team which will include 6 to 10 Implementation Associates.
Project management
•
Creates and manages sprints for delivery of change requests.
•
Understands and communicates effectively with the customers on effort estimates and delivery timelines.
•
Manages the JIRA board for the change requests and keeps detailed account of client wise effort and the billing status.
•
Regularly monitors the overall health of deliverables, flags delivery spillovers and creates backup/ mitigation plans.
