Job Description

Job Purpose

This is a strategic senior HRBP profile and would work towards aligning the HR function with the business objectives of the organization.

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions with a focus on Training & Development, Performance Management System (PMS), and Recruitment. The role requires strong people management, process orientation, and the ability to partner with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness.

You will be a part of HR team and would work as a HR Generalist. You will be entrusted with some functions in the company and you will be taking care of those functions from end to end, primarily Talent Acquisition, Talent management and Talent Development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs through training need analysis (TNA).
  • Design calendar, develop, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, customer service, and productivity.
  • Track training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance improvement metrics.

2. Performance Management (PMS)

  • Understand the business objectives for the year and drive the Performance Management cycle
  • Create KRA/KPI, responsible for mid-year and annual appraisals in accordance with the business objectives
  • Partner with line managers to ensure fair and transparent performance evaluation.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and career development.

3. Talent Acquisition

  • Understand long term and short term business goals, identify gaps in structure and plug the gaps where needed keeping the end objective in mind
  • Develop talent pipelines through job portals, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Work on employer branding initiatives to attract top talent

4. Employee Engagement & HR Operations

  • Drive engagement initiatives to enhance motivation and retention
  • Address employee grievances and ensure a healthy work environment.
  • Maintain HR records .

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strategic intent and understanding

Strong knowledge of HR functions (Recruitment, PMS, L&D).

Experience in retail industry is desirable.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications & Experience:

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

1012 years of HR experience.

Proven track record in training, recruitment, and performance management
