Job Summary:


The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the staffing and recruitment industry. The BDM will play a key role in identifying market trends, creating strategic business plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality staffing solutions to clients. This position requires extensive travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.


Key Responsibilities:


1.

  • Identify and target potential clients within the staffing and recruitment industry.

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet sales targets and expand the client base.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.

  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales techniques.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to understand their staffing needs and provide effective solutions.

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Act as a point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and resolving issues as needed.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business.

  • Monitor sales metrics and performance, providing regular reports to senior management.


4.

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure the successful placement of candidates.

  • Work closely with marketing and other departments to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of overall business strategies.


5.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline opportunities.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights.


6.

  • Travel extensively to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new business opportunities.

  • Be open to traveling across the country as required to fulfill job responsibilities.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the staffing/recruitment industry.

  • Strong understanding of the staffing and recruitment market, industry trends, and client needs.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Masters degree in Business Administration or related field.

  • Experience using recruitment management systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

  • Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
