Head - Times Experiences Operations

Position Summary & Scope

The Head of Times Experiences Operations will be responsible for leading the business operations and strategic direction of the experiential arm of Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times of India Group). The role encompasses end-to-end management of event Intellectual Properties (IPs), from incubation, development to P&L management, and driving revenue and profit growth. This is a key leadership role requiring strong abilities in Business Process, P&L management, Event Curation, Brand Development, and People Leadership.

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)

• Business Operations P&L Management

  : Head all business operations for Times Experiences, ensuring profitability and overall corporate P&L responsibility.

• New Business/IP Incubation & Developmen

  t: Drive the incubation and development of new event IPs, products, and concepts, defining short- and medium-term business plans.

• Marketing, Sales & Partnerships

  : Oversee and manage key functions such as sponsorship sales, ticketing sales, brand partnerships, media planning, and digital media activation.

• Project Planning & Execution (Experiential)

  : Lead the planning and execution of large-scale experiential properties and events, managing all aspects including vendor sourcing and government relations.

• People Management & Leadership

  : Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a "Unity of Vision" and strong professional relationships.

Qualification and Experience

• MBA or equivalent qualification – preferably marketing
• Minimum of 20+ years of multi-functional experience, with significant time in Live Entertainment and Media industries
• Proven leadership experience in managing business operations, P&L, and driving large- scale projects
