Settlement Operations Expertise
: Strong knowledge of end-to-end settlement processes across equity, derivatives, currency, debt, and mutual funds.
Regulatory Compliance
: Deep understanding of SEBI, NSE, BSE, NSDL, CDSL regulations and compliance requirements.
Depository & Clearing Systems
: Experience in NSDL/CDSL operations, clearing corporations (NCL/ICCL), and settlement systems.
Risk Management & Controls
: Ability to identify operational risks, implement SOPs/SLAs, and drive automation and process standardization.
Audit & Reporting
: Skilled in handling regulatory audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
Technology & Process Improvement
: Proficiency in back-office software, MS Excel, UAT, system upgrades, and digitization initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development
: Proven track record in managing, mentoring, and upskilling settlement operations teams.
Analytical & Problem-Solving
: Strong ability to reconcile trades, funds, and positions with high accuracy and efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
: Effective coordination with exchanges, depositories, custodians, banks, compliance, risk, and IT teams.
Certifications (Preferred)
: NISM (Series VI, VII, VIII), Lean Six Sigma, Risk/Compliance certifications.
