Head Security

Purpose/Objective

Purpose of Position Oversee the management of physical security measures, including access controls, CCTV systems, and security personnel. Develop and maintain incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective responses to security breaches. Manage records, documentation and reporting to demonstrate compliance and facilitate audits.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Deliverables / Responsible for (results)1. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 1. Implement and manage security technologies, like firewalls, intrusion detection systems and access controls. 1. Ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable security-related laws, regulations and standards in India. 1. Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats, promptly investigating and mitigating security incidents. 1. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate security considerations into developing new products and services. 1. Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies and regulatory changes, ensuring continuous improvement of the security function. 1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive security framework to protect the company's assets and infrastructure. 1. Designing and implementing security policies, procedures and protocols to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment. 1. Investigating and monitoring incident response activities, including investigations, root cause analysis and developing corrective actions. 1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities and devise preventive measures. 1. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies and industry associations. 1. Leading security awareness programs and training initiatives to educate employees about best practices and potential threats. 1. Working with management to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs. 1. Presenting risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members. 1. Ensuring that the company's security policies comply with federal laws and legislations. 1. Support to all other departments with security and related issues. 1. ensuring that the organization meets all required security and associated health and safety objectives 1. Monitoring & managing security systems and equipment servicing and/or maintenance in conjunction with other appropriate departments. 1. Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills to assess risks, analyze complex security issues and develop appropriate solutions.

Qualifications and Experience
