Head - Operations & Supply Chain (Medical Devices)

As the Head of Supply Chain & Operations (Dental/Medical Devices), your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee all operational activities within the organization, ensuring efficiency and alignment with long-term strategies. You will collaborate with the executive team to ensure that business objectives are met and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and implement corrective actions across various departments. Your role will involve optimizing logistics and inventory management, as well as establishing and improving the control tower department for regional warehouse oversight. Managing and developing a high-performing operations team will be crucial, with a focus on promoting growth and continuous improvement. You will be expected to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards while addressing customer inquiries and operational issues to enhance satisfaction and efficiency. Additionally, preparing and presenting operational reports to senior management, complete with actionable insights, will be part of your responsibilities. Leading budget preparation and cost control efforts to maximize profitability is also a key aspect of this role. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) along with a minimum of 5 years of operations management experience in a leadership role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is also required. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in logistics/supply chain management, particularly in e-commerce/retail settings, knowledge of dental products and industry trends, experience in managing a control tower department, and familiarity with operations management software such as Vinculum eRetail.
