Job responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day operations across production, supply chain, procurement, quality, and logistics for the brakes division.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the companys long-term goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and safety (CQDS).

Manufacturing & Production Management

• Ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing of brake components (e.g., pads, discs, drums, calipers, etc.).
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), productivity, and downtime.

Supply Chain & Procurement

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities with a focus on cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and ensure consistent supply of raw materials.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO/TS, OEM specifications, etc.).
• Work closely with the quality department to maintain zero-defect standards and improve product reliability.

People Management

• Build and lead a high-performing operations team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Budgetary Control

• Manage operational budgets and drive cost optimization without compromising quality or timelines.
• Forecast resource needs and manage capital expenditures.

Technology & Innovation

• Promote automation, digitization, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams on new product industrialization and scalability.

Additional Information

• Good Knowledge about machining and assembly processes
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
• Experience of handling international customer
• Knowledge of 5 S, Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of productivity improvement tools and techniques.
• Shall have knowledge of ISO 45001, OHSAS & HIRA.
• Good in communication, analytical and inter-personal skills, knowledge of problem solving tools
• Know how about I4.0 terminology
