Head of Security Major Site - JOC ( 82296848 )

Job Responsibilities :

• Overall responsibility for security and protection of assets of the major site # people, infrastructure and information .
• Identify and establish a local intelligence network to gather inputs onemerging security threats and monitor other trends in the internal and external environment that may impact the security of the site .
• Identify & establish liaison with Government policy makers, regulators and bodies for relevant information and support .
• Conduct security risk assessment s and implement mitigation measures in consultation with Head of Security (Hydrocarbons) to counter risks & threats .
• Conducts internal and third party security audits, mock drills and surprise checks to ensure reliability of security management system .
• Ensure conduct of security events as per the annual security plan .
• Plan, prepare and monitor security budget; CapEx and OpEx .
• Interface with the Head of Security (Hydrocarbons) / Site President (of the assigned site)to establish a security awareness program for employee workforce and the local community .
• Investigate security incidents, frauds, crimes, and institute remedial measures .
• Oversee background checks of sensitive employee s and contract workforce and proactively mitigate external/internal threats .
• Oversee operations of Site Security Operations Centre as per the defined SLAs
• Oversee & evaluate performance of the third party security personnel services provider by ensuring that the deployed personnel are functioning as per defined parameters .
• Conduct performance evaluations, skill development and succession planning for the site security team .
• Ensure all positions of security function are occupied at all times with least attrition and provide active support in the selection process of suitable candidate s . .
• Ensure prompt response management in handling emergencies and providing business continuity at site

Necessary

• Graduate - Any disciple

• Post Graduate - Any disciple
• CPP/Industrial Security Courses from CISF /Defence services/Police academy/International institute
• LLBor knowledge of Land of law-Criminal, IR and labour law
• Crime Intelligence Course from -IB / CDTS /Military INT /secret services / Forensic Science/Police academy/Cyber-crime division/RGSS specialized course.
• Traffic & Road Safety - IIMs (Delhi & Bangalore)/ state traffic police /RGSS Road safety management PGM.
• ISPS / Port Security Protection Course/ Maritime Facility Security Course.
• MDP-Leadershipprogram orPGP fromIIM/International Business School
• Fraud Management Course/ Cyber Crime Diploma/RGSS in-house course
  

Experience Requirement :

• 15-18 years of experience in the area of security operations with 5-8 yrs as Head of Security of large size industrial set up or Zonal Security Manager/Key site head of RIL.
