Head of Operations

Responsibilities -

• Strategic Operations Planning

  - Design and execute operations strategy for more than a lakh monthly orders; build predictive models for demand forecasting and capacity optimization; identify and eliminate bottlenecks proactively; drive 15-25% annual cost reduction through continuous improvement

• Order Fulfillment Excellence

  - Own end-to-end order-to-delivery with 99%+ accuracy, timely dispatch; optimize picking, packing, dispatch processes.

• Courier Partner & Logistics Management

  - Manage 3-5 courier partners with quarterly rate negotiations; monitor NDR/RTO reduction and shipment tracking; implement zone-based allocation to optimize costs and delivery times; and improve TAT, damage rates

• Inventory & Warehouse Management

  - Build an inventory system minimizing stockouts and excess; optimize warehouse layout for space and picking efficiency; implement ABC analysis and demand planning; coordinate procurement (Rudraksha, Karungali, metals, gemstones); maintain batch traceability through BTR system

• Team Leadership (40+ Members)

  - Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operations team; create clear KPIs and accountability frameworks; build culture of ownership and continuous improvement; implement training programs reducing errors and improving productivity; foster cross-functional collaboration

• Assembly Line & Production Management

  - Design and scale efficient assembly workflows for processing daily orders; implement lean manufacturing principles balancing speed with craftsmanship quality; coordinate with in-house teams; manage production scheduling for optimal throughput; establish quality benchmarks and real-time inspection protocols to maintain consistency at scale

• Multi-Warehouse Operations Management

  - Oversee and coordinate 3 warehouses, ensuring seamless operations across all locations; work closely with warehouse managers to maintain operational excellence and consistency; implement standardized processes and KPIs across facilities; optimize resource allocation and workload distribution; conduct regular audits and performance reviews to ensure alignment with company standards
