Head of Operations Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Hospital Operations Management
• Oversee all hospital operations, including OPD, IPD, OT, pharmacy, diagnostics, and support services.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Monitor bed occupancy, patient flow, and turnaround times to maximize efficiency.
• Process & Quality Improvement
• Develop and implement SOPs across departments.
• Ensure NABH and regulatory compliance.
• Regularly audit services, processes, and quality metrics.
• Doctor & Staff Coordination
• Liaise with doctors and ensure timely scheduling, OT/ICU support, and patient care coordination.
• Manage administrative staff, nursing, paramedics, and support teams.
• Drive staff training, performance reviews, and workforce productivity.
• Financial & Business Oversight
• Track revenue, costs, and profitability of hospital services.
• Work closely with the management team on P&L responsibility.
• Implement cost control measures without compromising quality.
• Patient Experience & Engagement
• Ensure a high standard of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Implement grievance redressal systems and improve patient feedback mechanisms.
• Drive initiatives for better patient experience (e.g., reduced waiting time, transparent billing, personalized care).
• Partnerships & Growth
• Support B2B partnerships with corporates, insurance companies, and referral doctors.
• Assist in marketing and demand-generation initiatives.
• Explore opportunities for new services and hospital expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in hospital operations/healthcare management, with at least 3 years in a Senior Operations role.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, compliance, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multi-specialty operations and large teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
