Head of Manufacturing

You will be responsible for leading the plant manufacturing function, including solution preparation, production, printing, and packing. Your main focus will be on developing people and processes to achieve plant budgets in terms of production quantity, productivity targets, and consistent quality. You will need to cascade the macro manufacturing plan shared by Central Planning and create a micro plant level plan to achieve the budgeted volumes while maintaining quality norms and timelines. Your core responsibilities will include mucilage preparation, reviewing production plans, coordinating with supply chain and production teams, providing infrastructural support, reviewing performance and quality standards, monitoring production efficiency and volume, initiating corrective actions, ensuring adherence to quality standards, identifying areas for improvement in the manufacturing process, coordinating printing and packing activities, monitoring manufacturing losses, driving improvement plans for quality and quantity, implementing safety initiatives, reviewing data for identifying improvement activities, keeping the manufacturing facility fit for purpose, supporting QA for audits, conducting root cause analysis, ensuring cost optimization, coordinating with various departments, and adhering to SOPs. You will also be responsible for people development initiatives, building in-house capabilities, driving a performance culture, contributing to talent development, participating in HR initiatives for employee engagement, and supporting capability development programs. The minimum requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering, an MBA in Operations is desired, and 15-18 years of experience in continuous manufacturing processes. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred.,
