Head of Information Technology

As the Head-IT at our company, you will be responsible for spearheading the technology strategy, development, and implementation of our e-commerce mobile application catering to the retail sales of building materials. With a wealth of experience spanning 15 to 20 years, and a budget of up to 80LPA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless customer experience and driving business growth through your deep expertise in software development, product catalogue management, and e-commerce technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with our business objectives, overseeing the design and deployment of the mobile app and related digital platforms, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our e-commerce platform. Additionally, you will lead the end-to-end development of the mobile app, implement AI-driven product recommendations, and stay abreast of emerging technologies to foster innovation in the e-commerce domain. Managing the product catalogue will be a key aspect of your role, encompassing the creation, organization, and optimization of building materials listings. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate product descriptions, pricing, and inventory details, as well as implementing automated catalogue updates and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement. Driving retail sales and enhancing customer experience will be crucial components of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to boost conversion rates, revenue growth, and customer engagement through personalized recommendations and loyalty programs. In terms of team leadership, you will lead and mentor a team comprising developers, designers, and product managers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business goals will be essential, and you will report directly to the Managing Director (MD), providing regular updates on tech-related endeavors. To excel in this role, you must possess expertise in programming languages such as Java, Swift, Python, and React Native, along with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and database management. Your experience in product catalogue structuring, inventory management, data analytics, and proven ability to lead tech teams and drive digital transformation will be instrumental in your success.,
