SAP PP Sr Consultant

You are a highly experienced and results-driven SAP PP Senior Consultant with a strong background in SAP Production Planning (PP). In this role based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes within SAP. Your expertise in business analysis, solution design, SAP PP configuration, implementation, project leadership, system optimization, support, documentation, and training will be crucial to aligning business requirements with effective SAP solutions across global operations. As a SAP PP Senior Consultant, you will lead workshops to gather complex business requirements for production planning, master data, capacity planning, and shop floor control processes. You will translate these needs into functional specifications, solution designs, and blueprint documents, ensuring alignment with global SAP best practices. Your role will involve conducting gap analysis, proposing innovative solutions, and configuring the SAP PP module covering core functionalities such as Material Master, Bill of Material (BOM), Routings, Work Centers, MRP, MPS, Production Orders, and more. You will play a key role in leading and participating in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, developing test plans, providing expert guidance during critical phases, and mentoring junior consultants. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, provide support for complex incidents, and stay updated on the latest SAP innovations. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with 8-12 years of hands-on experience as an SAP PP Functional Consultant. You must have led at least 3-5 full lifecycle SAP PP implementation projects and possess expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 PP or SAP S/4HANA PP/MRP. Experience in manufacturing industries like Chemical, Petrochemical, or Textile is desirable, and knowledge of advanced planning modules is an advantage. Your technical skills should include in-depth knowledge and configuration expertise in core SAP PP functionalities, understanding integration points with other modules, and the ability to read ABAP code. You should also have exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
