Head of Finance

You will be the Head of Finance & Compliance at our client's tech-enabled outsourcing platform located in Sec 3, Noida. With over 15 years of Post-Qualified Experience as a CA, you will lead the strategic finance, accounting, legal, and compliance functions. Partnering closely with the founders and business leaders, your role will focus on driving financial clarity, operational scalability, and risk management to shape the company's growth trajectory. This position is crucial in establishing strong financial planning, robust internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid business model that combines technology and operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with Founders, Business Heads, and Pod Leaders to drive financial planning, growth strategy, and capital allocation. - Improving gross margin and contribution margin across business units by owning unit economics. - Leading financial due diligence, scenario planning, and board/investor meetings and presentations. - Building a best-in-class FP&A function to enable data-backed decisions and influence business performance. - Managing books closure, statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance in India and the US. - Overseeing commercial contracts, vendor & client agreements, NDAs, employment contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. - Mentoring the Finance & Legal team and fostering a culture of high accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Requirements for this role include: - 15+ years of total experience with at least 8-10 years in a finance leadership role at a high-growth startup. - Strong command over financial tools, business modeling, and compliance frameworks. - Experience in handling P&L scale, fundraising readiness, audits, and investor reporting. - Prior exposure to SaaS + Ops models is beneficial, and a hybrid background (Big 4 + startup) is ideal. - Process-oriented with a focus on outcomes, capable of building scalable systems and leading through change. - Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
