Responsibilities: End-to-end ownership of all finance activities across the group entities operating from the Ranchi office, ensuring strict accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Report directly to the CFO, providing regular updates on financial status and strategic insights. Ensure day-to-day accountability for finance operations and processes. Oversee the disbursement of all payments, including salaries and ensure the timely collection of receivables. Lead, manage, and monitor the finance team to ensure all departmental processes are executed efficiently. Ensure accurate tax filing through an appointed CA while adhering to income tax guidelines. Proactively resolve any escalations or issues from the Income Tax Department. Manage incoming communications via emails and the company website regarding income tax-related matters and delegate tasks to concerned individuals for resolution. Ensure timely submission of all documents, bills, and receipts to the CA for balance sheet preparation and return filing. Coordinate auditor visits on a quarterly and half-yearly basis, ensuring proper scheduling and follow-ups. Foster strong relationships with CAs, bankers, and auditors to facilitate smooth operations  Qualifications Required: 10-18+ years of progressive experience in the finance sector, preferably managing financial operations of large enterprises or multi-sector groups. A bachelor’s/master's degree in Financial Administration, Financial Accounting or equivalent course (Cherry ON Top: CA). In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, income tax laws, and accounting principles. Proven leadership skills with strong stakeholder management Hands-on experience with audits, tax assessments/notices via the Income Tax portal, and statutory compliance Experience managing banking facilities and loan documentation Proficiency in financial management software and tools such as MS Excel.
