Engineering Leader
to oversee and scale the company’s technology organization. This role will be pivotal in driving technical excellence, execution speed, and organizational growth as we continue to expand our digital and product ecosystem.You’ll work closely with the
Head of Product
and other senior leaders to translate the company’s vision into a scalable, world-class engineering operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering organization across frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.
- Drive delivery of key product and platform initiatives in partnership with product leadership.
- Establish and uphold best practices for software development, architecture, testing, and release management.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability across all technical systems.
- Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to align engineering priorities with company objectives.
- Implement systems and metrics to measure engineering quality, velocity, and impact.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven success in building and scaling engineering teams within high-growth, product-driven environments.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern development frameworks and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor cross-functional engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and product-led development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams.
- Background in consumer technology, digital platforms, or e-commerce.
- Passion for building innovative, high-quality user experiences.
Work Setup
- Preferred: Based in Manila, Philippines.
- Open to: Remote or distributed leadership across Southeast Asia (Vietnam and other key markets).
- Must be comfortable leading remote-first and hybrid teams effectively.
