As the Group Manager at our company Marine ERP Product, you will be responsible for leading and managing a group of 3-5 teams, focusing on their personal and professional growth. Your role will involve actively participating in analysis, architecture, and design efforts related to the solution alongside architects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Becoming the manager for a group of 3-5 teams, addressing their personal and professional needs. - Recruiting and building self-organizing agile teams. - Implementing career development and personal growth plans for team members. - Enhancing team members' technical proficiency and soft skills. - Driving improvements to the group's development methodologies and processes. - Managing and driving execution and day-to-day activities of the group. - Assuming complete ownership over the group's products, quality, production environment, and operational requirements. To qualify for this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Technical skills alongside business and customer understanding. - Minimum of 10 years of software development experience as a software engineer and engineering manager. - Minimum of 6 years developing with Node.js, C# or Java. - Minimum of 2 years experience with large scale and high-performance distributed systems. - Indirectly managed at least 3 engineering teams with a minimum of 20 group members for a minimal consecutive period of 4 years. - Experience and ability for prioritizing, planning, driving, and managing execution plans. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Proactive, independent, mature, self-driven, and works well with minimal supervision. - Proficiency in verbal and written English communication. - Experience collaborating with international managers and colleagues.
