Head of Content & Social Media

Responsibilities

• Content and Social Strategy: Develop and implement an integrated content and social media plan aligned with brand and business goals.
• Team Building and People Management: Hire and onboard social media specialists, writers, and other content roles to strengthen the function.
• Financial Expertise: Create and oversee content that reflects a strong understanding of mutual funds, wealth management, and investment products.
• Content Production: Oversee production of blogs, educational articles, newsletters, social posts, videos, infographics, and resources for MFDs and investors.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive voice, style, and tone across all channels.
• Analytics and Optimization: Track performance of content and social initiatives, using data to refine strategy.
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years in content marketing/communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Industry Knowledge: Mandatory experience in financial services, wealthtech, fintech, or investment advisory sectors.
• Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of mutual funds, investment products, and financial markets (non-negotiable).
• Strategic and Execution Skills: Ability to design and execute scalable content programs.
• Communication Skills: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, especially in simplifying complex financial topics.
• Tools and Platforms: Familiarity with CMS, SEO, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
